Office of Sustainability 4400 Massachusetts Avenue NW Washington, DC 20016-8163 United StatesThe Sustainability Advisory Group includes staff, faculty, and students. They are responsible for reviewing sustainability progress, supporting implementation of the Sustainability Plan, and reviewing and supporting sustainability policies. Group members also work to forge sustainability ties across campus and elevate sustainability in campus discussions. Members are also asked to participate in or support working groups focused on specific sustainability efforts.
Sustainability Working Groups are formed as needed to address specific sustainability challenges. Staff, faculty, and students are invited to join to help shape programs and other efforts. Current groups include:
Offsets Oversight
Single-Use Plastics Reduction
GHG Review and Strategy
Starting in Fall 2024, all members of the university community will be invited to volunteer for the sustainability council which will focus on engaging the AU community in sustainability efforts and expanding sustainability literacy. Check back for more information.
