Community Gathering in Reflection: Livestream Wednesday, Nov 15: 12:00 - 12:30 pm
Livestream
The livestream recording will remain accessible for approximately one week after the event.
The seriousness and impact of recent events both in our community and around the world bring many emotions–sorrow, fear, and uncertainty, among them. While we continue to focus on safety and providing support, there is comfort and opportunity for hope in coming together as a community.
On Wednesday, November 15, we will offer spaces for the AU community to gather in guided reflection in locations across campus and online. From 12:00 p.m. to 12:30 p.m., we will hold centering spaces for community members in several locations on campus and our affiliated buildings. During this time, a guided reflection on personal self-care and sense of belonging will be offered by the University Chaplain from the Kay Spiritual Life Center and shared in the gathering spaces via livestream.
The gathering is not intended to address all the significant challenges faced in the world and in our community. The goal is to provide community members space and opportunity for their own reflection and support as we all navigate these difficult times. It is another aspect of the support available to community members.
