*AU Abroad fee includes: Housing for an ACT Double with breakfast and dinner included daily, overnight excursions and day trips, transportation from housing to ACT and back once a day, administrative support, pre-departure mailings, transcript translation and processing, pre-departure orientation, and emergency travel insurance.

Personal expenses include: Basic expenses for laundry, toiletries and other incidental expenses. It does not include an estimate for personal travel, entertainment or social outings.

Note on estimated visa and immigration-related fees: Non-EU citizens on this program must apply for a Greek National Visa before departure to Greece.

The Cornerstone Greece 2025–26 cost sheet will be available by early March.

Students participating in the AU Cornerstone Greece program will pay regular AU tuition for their semester abroad as well as a program fee that includes room and board. American University students can utilize their financial award packages, scholarships, grants, and loans when they study abroad, no matter what year they choose to do so. Your scholarship will be automatically applied to the AU tuition you will pay when you go abroad.

Financial aid is available for those who qualify and may be applied to this program. AU Abroad also has additional need based scholarships available. For information about financing options, consult with your university financial aid counselor. The American Payment Plan (APP) is available to AU Cornerstone Greece students. An alternative to paying in full at the start of term, the APP divides the fall and spring semester balance into convenient, interest-free monthly payments.
