PIJIP Researchers Andrés Izquierdo and Michael Palmedo Brief WIPO Delegates on the Program and Budget Committee
PIJIP Senior Research Analyst Andrés Izquierdo and Post Doctoral Research Fellow Michael Palmedo recently provided a briefing note to World Intellectual Property Organization (WIPO) delegates on the Program and Budget Committee, which is currently debating WIPO's 2024-25 budget. The briefing note discussed the share of the budget that is dedicated to advancement of the WIPO Development Agenda, and ways that WIPO could incorporate balanced IP into their workplan for the coming two years.
