American University Survey on Copyright Issues In Cross-Border Teaching
American University Professor Patricia Aufderheide has teamed up with Library Futures Fellow Juliya Ziskina to conduct a survey on copyright issues in cross-border teaching.
The survey is part of an Education International project studying the issue. Copyright and cross-border teaching will be under discussion at the World Intellectual Property Organization's Standing Committee on Copyright and Related Rights next week.
Aufderheide and Ziskina are actively seeking respondents. They are especially interested in educators who have
- co-taught with someone in another country
- taught online with some students in another country (including during COVID)
- taught for a wing of a university that's based in another country?
The survey is available in English, Spanish, Portuguese and French at this link: https://american.co1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_40jQUf6enq5nUCa
