Nicholas Beadle
Nicholas Beadle is an attorney at the Office of Apprenticeship of the U.S. Department of Labor, in Washington, D.C. At his current position, Mr. Beadle has helped establish new contract compliance and enforcement policy for Job Corps, a $1.8 billion workforce development agency with more than 120 centers nationwide. He has also served as the primary attorney on the development of workforce grants intended to minimize the employment impacts of national emergencies such as the outbreak of the Zika virus and the opioid crisis. He has developed regulatory and policy changes aimed at expanding apprenticeship as an entryway into the American workforce, following a Trump administration executive order instructing the Department of Labor to remove barriers to apprenticeship amid the rising cost of higher education.
A native of the unincorporated community of Greenhill, Alabama, Nicholas was an investigative reporter in the Southeast before entering law, uncovering contractual administration problems in the State of Tennessee that helped enable severe abuses of persons with disabilities.
