Adeen Postar joined the Washington College of Law as Library Director and Professor of Practice at the Pence Law Library in August 2019 after serving as the Law Library Director at the University of Baltimore School of Law between 2014 and 2019 and as Deputy Director at the Pence Law Library between 2004 and 2014. She has extensive experience in law firm, academic and government libraries, previously working as the library manager at the Washington office of Blank Rome LLP, Coordinator for External Services at Edward Bennett Williams Law Library at the Georgetown University Law Center and as a reference librarian at the Law Library of Congress. She also has been an active member of the American Association of Law Libraries, the Society of Academic Law Library Directors, and the Law Librarians' Society of the District of Columbia serving in various leadership positions. Her current work includes the administration of the Law Library, teaching Advanced Legal Research and Writing. She also serves as the book review editor for the Journal of Legal Education.
