What was the most valuable thing you learned from WeLead?
The potential to meet other women who were in so many areas of politics and law. The sessions we had were absolutely vital in propelling me to stay in DC for work.

What was your favorite part of the program?
Being able to network so easily with so many talented and accomplished women helped me feel empowered regarding my future accomplishments.

What advice would you give to the current WeLead class?
Everyone you meet can teach you, but especially the women around you who probably had to overcome some type of obstacle to be where they are by virtue of being a woman. Learn but also uplift those women.

Any other thoughts on your WeLead experience?
I am often asked about WeLead, as I believe it stands out as something beyond the typical attorney resume. So, take those opportunities that set you apart, first because it will propel your career, and second, because you never know where those experiences might lead you.
