In response to a request from the Faculty Senate Working Group on Faculty Engagement, we are sharing data on AU faculty salaries and administrative growth. We are committed to transparency and want to ensure that our faculty have access to vital information that can inform our collective work.

The specific data requested by the Working Group includes:

• Faculty Salary Information: Mean and median salary data for each rank and demographic category, meticulously disaggregated by department, where feasible, without compromising confidentiality. 
• Demographic Composition: Detailed demographic breakdowns of our faculty across all ranks.
• Administrative Expenditure and Employee Data: A comprehensive breakdown of employee numbers and salaries for those in administration. As requested, these data are categorized into the academic side (encompassing all under the provost's purview) and the nonacademic side (covering all other aspects). We have ensured that this historical data spans the last decade, providing a comprehensive view of our administrative growth.
