Dear AU Students,

Thank you for all your help and effort as we have transitioned to online classes. We know this is a disruptive and uncertain time, but we are working to ensure that we continue to provide you with a high-quality educational experience. Our first day of online classes went well, with some anticipated challenges that we are addressing in a number of ways.

As we continue our educational activity for the remainder of the spring semester, we are also actively planning for future classes. We want to make the process as easy as possible for you to continue your academic pursuits. Today, I want to share that registration for summer and fall classes will be delayed for two weeks. 

• Summer registration will begin on Monday, April 6, 2020.
• Fall registration will begin on Tuesday, April 7, 2020.
• Please note that WCL follows a different academic calendar.

More information is available on the AU registration web page. You can also reach out to your individual academic advisor. A letter from the university registrar with detailed instructions will be sent to all students today.  

We know it is not easy and there are many questions. But we want you to know that everyone at American University is here for you and committed to not only your health and safety, but your education and your future, since that is why you came to AU!
