What I miss most about home is: my dog, Lola 
But what I enjoy most about being away at college is: the weather—it’s so much cooler in DC than in Austin
What I’ve learned most about myself since coming to AU is: I like philosophy, which I discovered in my Complex Problems seminar, Are We All Zombies?

What we miss most about our student is: her humor, laughter, and all the noise
But what we enjoy most about her being away at college is: she’s happy—and that there are fewer missing glasses in her bedroom (laughs)
This year we can’t wait to see our student: go to England for study abroad

What I miss most about home is: my dad cooks Italian and we have barbecue in the summer 
What I’ve learned most about myself since coming to AU is: I can actually do this; I had a rocky start, but a professor recommended Higher Learning, which changed my perspective
This year I can’t wait: to see the cherry blossoms

What we miss most about our student is: his sense of humor and his help around the house
But what we enjoy most about him being away at college is: the grocery bill (laughs)
The biggest change we’ve seen in our student is: his independence and ability to navigate his new surroundings

But what I enjoy most about being away at college is: not having to share a bathroom with my brother—but I do have to share it with a floor of other girls 
What I’ve learned most about myself since coming to AU is: I’m more extroverted than I thought

The biggest change we’ve seen in her is: she’s reaching out to us and her grandparents more; we’ve been getting postcards and letters in the mail

The biggest change I’ve seen in her is: she’s grown up so much; she had her first internship, which has shaped her perspective on what she wants to do
This year I can’t wait to see my student: complete her capstone and decide where she wants to live and what she wants to do
