Dear AU Faculty and Staff,  

Thank you for helping make our fall special events and Meet and Eat Lunch series at the U-Club a success! Based on your feedback, the AU Kitchen, Office of the Dean of Faculty, Office of Inclusive Excellence, and AhealthyU and Human Resources are excited to announce the return of these opportunities during the spring semester.  

Meet and Eat Lunch Series Resumes January 28  

Join your colleagues for a community-building lunch at a special rate of $11 per person on January 28, February 11, February 19, and April 9. This series is designed to create casual and comfortable opportunities for faculty and staff to build connections. Sign up on your own and get paired with another AU colleague or come with a colleague who you’d like to get to know better. On March 5 and April 10, we will host two special Meet and Eats in conjunction with the Office of Inclusive Excellence’s Dialogue Across Differences initiative, with more details to come.  Reservations are required and can be made on the Open Table platform.

All faculty and staff are invited to sign up for:  

• February 14, Eat Your Hearts Out, a Valetine’s Day Treat Event from 3 to 4:30 p.m.  

• March 6, Prose and Cons, an opportunity to enjoy faculty and staff creative works from 3 to 4:30 p.m.  

• March 19, Quiz Pro Quo, a battle of departments trivia contest, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. 

• April 2, AU Bakes, a friendly baking competition, from 3 to 4:30 p.m. 

• April 15, Prose and Cons, another opportunity to enjoy faculty and staff creative works from 3 to 4:30 p.m. 

Staff members are invited to sign up for:  

• May 1, Coffee Talk, a staff coffee hosted by Human Resources from 9 to 10:30 a.m. 

Faculty members are invited to sign up for:  

• May 6, Final Exam Breakfast Breather, a quick bite and breather from 8 to 10 a.m. during final exams week.
